David said, “How sweet are thy words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth, your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalms 119-105) King Solomon said, “The word of God is life to those who find them and it will heal your flesh.” (Proverbs 4:22) “Thy words were found and I ate them, and thy words became to be a joy and the delight of my heart; for I am called by thy name Oh Lord, God of hosts.”
The Lord said to Joshua, this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth but you shall meditate in it day and night that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. Then you shall make your way prosperous and you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8) One day I thought, I would finally be successful, That I would be healed, have peace and be filled with the of joy of the Lord.
I was saved; Jesus took all my sins to the cross, and cleared the path way to eternal life, yet I did not know God had provided the blessing of Eden that we could prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers. (III John3:2) The Lord said to Joshua, you will have good success and I needed some of that good success. Years ago I started to read and study the Word of God. It has become the governing factor of my life. The word of God is what I think about and the reason I live. God’s Word is the sustaining force of every believer. The desire of my heart is to be like the Psalmist David who said, “O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day. You through your commandments have made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me." (Ps 119:97-105)
There is marvelous provision to be found in the Word of our God. My prayer for you is that He will make you hungry, so hungry that you will lessen the time in front of the television. Then your down time will become up time as you meditate on His Word and learn to experience His overflowing presence.

These are great days, days of blessing, days for strengthening the hands to war. This is a time for spiritual warfare and as we stand in the gap legion will fall and fail. Your life will not only be filled with blessing and fullness, His joy will bring you to higher heights, have I not said, and with joy shall you draw waters from the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:3) There are wells you have not yet known, there are depths you have never explored, yet I say to you today, today the depths, the deep is being opened to you.
Today the jewels of My Glory, the beauty of my presence will captivate you. You will know for all time, the truth of Christ the mystery of Christ. To know Christ, and Him crucified, (I Corinthians 2:2) the overcoming one and having done so, you are for eternity captured dear one, held as it were a captive by the one you have longed to know, the one you hold dearest in this life shall carry you into the heavenly realms and there present you, seat you, with Him and hold you. There you will finally know that to overcome is to be overcome by Him who overcame the world.
When you overcome the world, of a truth, I say to you, as the ruler over the spirit of this world, your spirit will rise. As you rise to rule and have dominion in these days of great trial and shakings, His Word will make you to be wiser, act gentler and with grace that is only born of the Spirit of God, you will become more Christ-like, more Christ conscious, more full of God, more like Him.
Then joy will turn to delight and I say to you today my friend, if you could find a wine press, and I might say it this way, when He has so over-come you and you have so overcome this world, you will squeeze to the very last drop the sweetness, the beauty of God, the wealth of God, for there is a wealth that goes beyond all the wealth of this world, that wealth extends to the depths and the length of Galactic space. You shall be the generation who will begin and I say only begin to explore the greatness and even mind boggling depths of His Glory, His creative power. I say to you there is creative power yet to be discovered, not only in the Name of Christ, in the Word of Christ and yes, even in the Spirit of Christ.
The Holy Spirit will continue as in the early days to bring forth the breath of God that will yet shake nations as well as the fire of His presence to cleanse and purify believers. It will be a purging fire that will break the hardness and the arrogance of nations and their leaders. As the wind of my spirit blows over this great land you call the United States, know this, I call it the place of My feet, for I have walked this land ages before your counting and My foot print will never be eradicated. I will have My desire over this land as with many other lands you consider an enemy. Do not think that I cannot bend any knee, do not think all is lost, do not think Satan has won or is winning, for ultimately every knee will bow in defeat or as conqueror before the throne of My Father’s presence.
There is a new day rising and you shall know it. A new age is rising, a greater anointing is being released and once again the power of the Apostolic age is upon us.

- John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
- I John 5:4-5 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"
- Revelation 23:21 “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on my throne.” We need to learn what a victorious life really is.
Jesus said, I overcome, yet from the world’s point of view, He was not victorious. He was beaten, misunderstood, rejected, He lived a life of poverty and He died a violent death. He was hunted by the church dignitaries of His generation. He was called a blasphemer and he was spit upon by soldiers, and that is called victory? I think we need to rethink our estimates of a conquering career. He did battle with satan in the wilderness where He was deprived of food and water and His own natural desires. Every desire, be it natural or spiritual was to be used by the tempter as a weapon against Him. Yet Jesus remained unmoved in His obedience and submission to the will of God. He was sinless in nature so that temptation found nothing to lay hold of, nothing to set fire to and nothing to kindle the flame of rebellion against His Father’s will.
In taking our sin upon Himself, He became partaker of flesh and blood and He experienced the weakness of human kind. Yet, He was more than an over comer. He did no sin, no deceit and no guile was found in His mouth. He fought the good fight of faith. You might say, He was a soldier in the army in which He is the captain and the leader. I like what Jesus said in Revelation 3:21 – “To him who overcomes," to overcome means to overcome the spirit of this world – that means we don’t yield to the temptation of this world. We give ourselves wholly to the Spirit of our God who leads us, like Christ in glorious conquest over satan’s darkness, death and destruction. The next thing I like about that verse of scripture is that –“ at the right hand of God” –is not a local designation – it does not denote a physical position. The right hand of God is the instrument of His Omnipresence, His All Powerfulness, so when we speak of Christ sitting on the throne, we throw allegory to the wind. Jesus at the right hand of the Father wields all the forces of divinity. Jesus is exalted and He possesses supreme universal dominion over all things, and we are seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places! Back to Revelation. 3:21 “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, ( and catch this) even as I also overcame and am set down with My Father on His throne.”
The words, even as I also – Those words then begin to dawn on us. Revelation 12:10 says, “and we overcame him by the blood of the lamb, by the word of the testimony and we did not love our lives to the death.” Paul in Colossians 1:12 said that He has made us able, or qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. In Chapter 2:10, He says, "We are complete in Him who is the Head of all principality and power.” John 16:33 says, “These things have I spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” The reason that we can be of good cheer is because He who has overcome, lives in you and me, and that makes us over comers in Christ!
Listen as Jesus prays. In John 17:6 He says, “Glorify thou Me with the glory which I had with you before the world was.” My heart leaps for joy as I realize, here is a man, Christ Jesus, Son of God, He took human flesh, lived in a body and became one of us and as one of us, He prays that the glory of the Father would come in human flesh, the two would become inseparable. Remember Isaiah’s words, arise, and shine, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. That glory brings me back to the words, even as I also overcame, has to mean, that I sit down with My Father on His throne, filled with the Holy Spirit I am commanded to bind and loose, set captives free, heal blind eyes, heal deaf ears, cast out demons, cause the lame to walk, preach the gospel, so that we may bring salvation to a lost and dying world. Truly this is the dawn of New Day!

“And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them”.( Exodus 7:5)
Egypt would eventually cast out the righteous from among them. However, God offered a better way. Moses used God’s words, Let my people go. Upon Pharaohs refusal a different path was set in motion. There would be a separation of believers from the world and from secular religion. Those who did not obey God by refusing to eat the Pass-over and refusing to put the blood of the Lamb on their door-posts, experienced the death of their first born.
The coming year, 2009, will be a year of great blessing for those who have received the Passover Lamb and applied the blood of the Lamb to their homes and lives. We will pass through dry places, the deserts of life, but God will provide food and water. His Word will be our food. His Spirit will satisfy our hearts. We will find that even nature will provide safe passage for you and work in your favor. It will be like the Red Sea was for the children of God, yet the children of the world will experience calamity at every turn.
Do not think that everything is just going to get better. It will get better and the blessings will come because you believe His Word. Even your children must be taught to believe, to obey and to act on the Word of God. As it was then, so shall it be today, many will fall at your side, yet you will prevail. Blessing will come to your house, you will become a place of shelter for the weary and fearful, and you will offer encouragement to the lost and bewildered. Be blessed in 2009.

Because you have set yourself to pursue Me, you will know realms of the Spirit that until now have been off limits. Yet, I will not only open the heavens but, I will pour out my blessing through you. In Titus 3:4-6 Paul wrote this word to Titus, “He has saved us through the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our savior.”
You have sought Me with great desire. If you will seek me and trust My word to do for you what no one else can do for you, including yourself, My presence will go before you, your desires will be my desires. Never again will the desires of your heart go unfulfilled, for your desires are My desires. Love and compassion will begin to flow in abundance in your life.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God in Him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. (I John 4:16-17)
